Winter Squash & Apples with Cinnamon & Butter
- 4-6 c. winter squash cooked, mashed
- 2-3 apples diced
- ½ c. butter
- ½ c. fresh cranberries optional
- Spread cooked squash in the bottom of a 13×9 pan.
- Sprinkle with salt.
- Cover with peeled, diced apples.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Cover with pats of butter.
- Optional: for an extra zing, add fresh cranberries.
- Bake at 350 until apples are tender.
