Winter Squash & Apples with Cinnamon & Butter

Winter Squash & Apples with Cinnamon & Butter

Ingredients

  • 4-6 c. cooked mashed winter squash
  • 2-3 peeled diced apples
  • salt
  • cinnamon
  • ½ c. butter
  • ½ c. fresh cranberries optional

Instructions

  • Spread cooked squash in the bottom of a 13x9 pan.
  • Sprinkle with salt.
  • Cover with peeled, diced apples.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • Cover with pats of butter.
  • Optional: for an extra zing, add fresh cranberries.
  • Bake at 350 until apples are tender.
