Cream of Asparagus Soup

Ingredients

pounds
of asparagus
2
small yellow onions
ΒΌ
cup
butter
chicken stock
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Gently boil asparagus, onions, and butter in several inches of stock until asparagus is no longer firm.
Puree and reheat.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Keep warm until serving.
After ladling into bowls, add cream, milk, or almond milk depending on the dietary needs of each.
